Walt Disney Birthplace

In Chicago at the corner of Tripp Avenue and Palmer Street is an ordinary looking house with some extraordinary history to it. The home at 2156 N. Tripp was designed and built by Flora and Elias Disney (yes that Disney). Both Walt and his brother Roy were born in this home and lived there until Walt was four and Roy was twelve years old.

Recently Dina Benadon and Brent Young (co-founders of Super 78) have purchased the home and intend to not only restore the structure but transform it into “A Living Source of Joy and Inspiration” which will promote the importance of family to nurture creativity, collaboration and innovation in children.  Dome3D has joined the project to document the restoration using immersive photography and 360 videography, and  "With Dome3D’s digital wizardry, we are planning to reinvent the museum experience: we will bring the museum to you."

Learn more about the restoration in Judy Rubin's InPark Magazine article here.
